ERASMUS+
Erasmus+ co-funds the project "Media Social Jobs" as well as the 2 youth exchanges in it "Shoot Shoot Social" and "Socemployable!".
Erasmus+ is the EU's programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. It offers opportunities for people of all ages, helping them develop and share knowledge and experience at institutions and organisations in different countries.
The aim of Erasmus+ is to contribute to the Europe 2020 strategy for growth, jobs, social equity and inclusion, as well as the aims of ET2020, the EU's strategic framework for education and training.

"Media Social Jobs" received as well support from the Italian National Agency for ERASMUS+ and mobility Agenzia Nazionale Giovani ANG and the municipality of Cortemilia.
Youth Exchanges
Youth exchanges allow groups of young people from different countries to meet, live together and work on shared projects for short periods.
Youth exchanges take place outside the school environment. On a youth exchange, you can expect to participate in activities such as workshops, exercises, debates, role-plays, outdoor activities and more.
Participants' learning experiences are recognized through the Youthpass certificate.
Networking and Trainings ​
Erasmus+ supports the professional development of youth workers through training or networking periods abroad. Periods abroad can consist of training courses, study visits, job shadowing or observation periods at relevant organizations and more. Differently, than in Youth-Exchanges, participants of Training Courses must follow the predefined profile of the project. Such kind of activities is designed to target people involved in youth work, NGOs, non-formal education.

What a Youth Exchange is NOT
Youth exchanges are a great opportunity to travel, discover new cultures and countries, meet different people and create international relationships without spending a lot of money.
In case your are interested in those things and not that much in the topics of the project or you can not actively participate in all the phases of the project doesn't matter, it's perfectly fine and we don't get offended. In that case we invite you to use tools like couchsurfing, blablacar, traditional hitch-hiking, to get inspiration from other travellers through groups like this one, or this one and NOT TO APPLY for this project but GO FOR WHAT YOU REALLY WANT!
